What Can I Expect on The First Chiropractic Visit?

Do You Take Insurance?

We are in network with several insurance plans, and we accept Medicare. If you have insurance, your benefits will be verified for you after the first visit. If you do not have insurance, or if you have not met your insurance deductible, the fee for the first visit is $150.

What Techniques Do You Use?

Dr. Mindy has been adjusting chiropractic patients for over 18 years, and uses a combination of manual techniques (Diversified, Thompson Drop, Gonstead, Toggle) and instrument techniques (Activator and TRT). She also uses active and passive muscle release techniques to support the adjustment. She will discuss your comfort with adjustment techniques prior to any treatment, and will tailor your spinal adjustment accordingly.

How Long Do I Need To Come for Adjustments?

After your first visit, Dr. Mindy will make recommendations for treatment based on your examination findings and your response to the first adjustment. Most acute conditions (pain or ‘pinched nerves’) respond well within the first few adjustments (relief care), but you’ll also be given the option to continue preventive maintenance care if you wish.
